There's an old bit of wisdom for artists: No matter what, draw every day.

This is a bit of wisdom I, sadly, have not been following. So here's a Red King I did to "limber up" to work on some commissions.


EDIT: I was gonna wait to be able to add a background before posting this, but I'm still waiting on Photoshop, and I've had this lying around for months now.

I love your take on Red King here - he actually looks the business with completely abandoning his Showa-era design, though the coloring feels like it was taken from "Ultraman Powered".
